Asbury Park Engagement Session

If you haven’t been to the beach (or rather the *shore*) this summer you should really consider turning in your Jersey plates.  I took my little one to  Asbury Park for a fun filled day of sand creatures & ice-cream.  It is a bizarre feeling to do a chill day at a location I have photographed with my couples.  Asbury Park is one of those places  and today inspired me to post this beautiful Asbury Park Engagement Session.

Amy and Nick are completely in love and actually almost forgot I was even there for most of the session.  Not only were they relaxed and natural they made simple outfit choices that allowed for comfort and a little frolic in the water.  Their wedding was a couple of weeks ago and my crew and I had the best time covering their big day.  As I work on putting together their collection, I realized how much I love engagement sessions.  Since I only offer engagement sessions to my wedding client (meaning I do not offer a la carte sessions) I get to know my clients well before their big day.  The time spent before their wedding allows me to better understand how to get the best out of my client.
