Boston Engagement Session

This Boston engagement session was so much fun to shoot! As we walked to the different sites the trees came alive with color. Autumn engagement sessions offer a romanticism like no other with its sessional traits. The comforting color palette of passionate reds, serene oranges, cheerful yellows and even earthy tones of stability, radiate a feeling of romance. Color is such an important factor in distinguishing our mood. The lighting also created a sense of urban romance for this Boston engagement session . The setting sun of the day, dim headlights of passing cars and streetlights,  the way the light peeked through the rusted steel of  an old walking bridge, and the glistening of a reflection on the water, provided gorgeous lighting opportunities when enhanced by Boston’s old structures. The composition of lines from bridges, rails, lampposts and street signs gave this shoot that classic urban vibe. This is a city of great character!

PS:  So one of my really fantastic interns is writing my blogs this summer – can you tell she reads romance novels?  Ay yay yay! 🙂
