Feast at Round Hill with Kristi & James

Feast at Round Hill turned out to be the perfect venue for Kristi & James.  This couples unique, unconventional taste made the Round Hill Mansion exactly what they were looking for.  The Mansion, located in the Hudson Valley is home to over 100 varieties of flowers in their luxurious garden.  A feature I’m sure delighted Kristi and James as much as it did me.

When I photographed the couple last fall for their engagement session, we instantly connected.  I’m always excited to hear about what my clients have planned for the big day and these two had a very specific vision.  The venue certainly took care of their taste.  Restored mansions always have incredibly unique features that photographer simply LOVE!  But what about the mood?  This couple clearly loved the social aspect of seeing and chatting with everyone throughout the night.  The mansions beautiful outdoor areas made it easy for their guests to mingle outside on the patio, on the paved waterfall and stone path.

Their guests enjoyed some of the best toasts Ive heard in a while, a jaw dropping photo-booth area and a little ice-cream to finish off the night.
