Stokesay Castle with Deanna & Marshall

Stokesay Castle was an extravagant vacation home for the Hiester Family, a political family of Congressmen and Governors in the late 1800 and early to mid 1900.  It was inspired by an 13th century English Castle by the same name.  The Castles decor felt authentic and beautifully preserved.  Each room I photographed felt as though I had been transported via a time capsule to the time of its origin.  It is no wonder Deanna & Marshall fell in love with this venue.

The grounds were perfectly manicured and provided a gorgeous background for many of the photos we captured on Deanna and Marshalls special day.  When my couples are able to stay in one location for the entirely of their wedding day, I often find that there is much less anxiety for them.  In this case, the venue was able to provide suites for the bridal party to get ready and a gorgeous lawn for the ceremony.

Marshall had a huge smile and was quite the charmer.  That coupled with Deanna’s obvious movie star beauty make them a real treat to photograph.  I was stuck by their fun loving family and just how close both sides had been well before this very special day.

Enjoy!
