The Ryland Inn with Ashley & Ian

So one of the top, newly renovated rustic venues in NJ is undoubtedly The Ryland Inn.  You’ve probably heard of it (*wink)…  Gorgeous ballroom with the highest ceilings and and the most incredible wall of windows (well, thats what I like to call it.)  The 220 year old equestrian estate has been revived by the owners and to my delight, I cover 4-6 weddings there a year.  This venue is a true gem and I look forward to seeing what else they have in store as they continue to rehabilitate the historic buildings on the property.

So although Ian and Ashley were not interested in an engagement session :(, I covered them at their gorgeous apartment in Hoboken for a small get together.  I found them to be a sincerely warm and charming couple.  I knew then that they both had fantastic taste and couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for Sam and I on the big day at The Ryland Inn..

When the day it finally arrived exactly a month ago, I was not untimately as struck by their impeccable taste as I thought I would be.  They hands down had that in the bag.  What made me much more impressed with them as a couple was the connections they had with their loved ones.  From the time Ashley presented her mother with her gifts to her Dads first look, I knew I would have trouble narrowing down my favorite moments from the images I took.
