Jack’s Barn – Allyson & Dave

A wedding at The Loft at Jack’s Barn is exactly what you would expect when the sun sets slowly over your farm inspired ceremony.  I first photographed Allyson & Dave in Washington DC where we captured some fun engagement session photos.  As they described the big day I was excited to see what they had in store.  Jack’s Barn is an antique venue where vintage and farm collide. There is no stopping any couple from achieving their perfect wedding when they step out on this incredible place.

Inside the loft/barn, there are some pretty perfect rooms for both sides of the the bridal party.  The bridal party robes were gorgeous and rustic, and totally added to the look of the wedding.  The indoor area’s rustic feel is accompanied by gorgeous chandeliers, original wood and very creative floral decor.

During the ceremony, the couple opted to further the barnyard feel by choosing hay seating, and an alter drenched from top to bottom with autumn-inspired vines. The sunlight hit just at the right time, and created the most beautiful moments while these two exchanged vows.

The indoor details were just as beautiful as the ones outside.  The seating cards, place settings and personal type-writer style guestbook were so intimate and creative and caught everyone’s attention. Everyone had a blast at the reception, and the entire day was picture perfect.
