It was my first time at the Stroudmoor Country Inn and I was capturing one my longest awaited weddings. VJ and Raquel secured their date with me almost two years prior and when I finally got a chance to see them again…. 🙂 I may be crazy but I’ve come to love the winter. Brides these days are embracing everything about their day come rain or shine. The light snow flakes during their first look was perfectly timed (thank you universe) and made for some of my favorite images of the day.
So the night before their wedding day at the Stroudmoor Country Inn, mother nature coated the earth with beautiful fluffy, great for soft imagery snow. It was a perfect backdrop for what the couple had in mind for their special day. Raquel looked absolutely stunning and fit the winter bride perfectly and VJ was as usual, charming and warm. I forget how cold it was as I look through these. The were so many warm moments that will continuously remind me of who this couple is and what they wanted on this special day.
Every detail Raquel and VJ described to me at our first meeting could not have translated better. These two are a perfect example of what I love about couples who choose to make their day their own. I mean from a very grizzly ring bearer to the ‘sweetest’ reception I have every covered… Not to forget the moments when the talented groom to to the stage for a musical performance. These two made it special, unique and true to who they were. Take a look at what I mean…
Enjoy!
