The Liberty Warehouse with Lauren & Saumil

Ok so I really love my job.  Its always too hot or too cold.  I have to wear all black so I blend in which is challenging in the summertime.  We are on our feet carrying heavy cameras and lenses for hours on end.  No weekends off and we get home late at night.  I would not trade it for ANYTHING!!  Why?  Well photographing beautiful weddings like this on has something to do with it.  Located on Pier 41, a former Red Hook, Brooklyn shipping yard, The Liberty Warehouse is a magnificently renovated event space overlooking the city and the Statue of Liberty.  I was lucky enough to photograph this gorgeous couple against the expansive views of the New York Harbor.  One of the most stunning sunsets I’ve seen in a while.

Lauren and Saumil chose this spectacular venue for a number of reasons.  The amazing views being one of them but The Liberty Warehouse also has a long enough Pier that allows for a joyful Baraat along the waters edge.  The raw space itself was truly magnificent and really ranks this wedding as one of my favorites of the year.  Lauren wore two dresses, one to represent her husbands culture during their ceremony and then a gorgeous white dress for the reception.  It didn’t hurt that they are both model good looking 😉
